There are two reception centers for asylum seekers in Banja Koviljaca and Bogovadja.
The center of Banja Koviljaca has a capacity of 81 seats. There are 210 asylum seekers in the city, as well as, an estimated 500 to 2,000 illegal aliens.
The situation was tense in the small town of 6000 inhabitants from the rape of a British national, whose exiles are suspected. Demonstrations were held to demand the expulsion of all foreigners in the city, and the parents refuse to send their children to school.
