After the wave of violence and destruction of settlements in May (Athens, Igoumenitsa, but also the destruction of the camp in Patras installed in the disused station of Saint Dyonisios), raids and destruction have continued.
June 9, the "Jungle slope" over the port of Patras has been destroyed, the destruction was accompanied by a large raid and a beat in the hills to capture the exiles who had taken refuge.
From June 8 to 20, raids to the old station of Saint Dyonisios and gardens of the captaincy in Patras lead 300 arrests, destruction of huts and personal violence. Part of the exiles were released, others scattered in different prisons in the region or Athens.
26 and 27 July, 300 new arrests. Asylum seekers are released, others are mostly transferred to Athens. Arrests continue in the coming days in the jungles of Afghans. On 28 July, Médecins du Monde Greece issues a press release describing and denouncing the violence suffered by the exiles from the police.
